PJP has been accepted in SCOPUS!

02/02/2026

We are pleased to announce that the Philippine Journal of Pathology (PJP) has been officially accepted for indexing in Scopus, one of the world’s largest and most trusted abstract and citation databases of peer-reviewed literature.

Scopus is an international platform used by researchers, institutions, and policymakers to discover, track, and evaluate high-quality research outputs across the sciences, health sciences, social sciences, and arts and humanities. Inclusion in Scopus signifies that a journal has met rigorous standards for editorial quality, peer review, publication ethics, regularity, and international relevance.

PJP’s acceptance into Scopus marks an important milestone in the journal’s continuing efforts to elevate Philippine pathology research, improve global visibility of locally generated data, and align its editorial and publishing practices with international standards. This achievement reflects the collective work of our authors, reviewers, editorial board, and the sustained support of the Philippine Society of Pathologists.

With Scopus indexing, articles published in PJP will gain wider international reach, improved discoverability, and greater citation potential—strengthening the voice of Philippine pathology in the global scientific community.
